Next Reunion
At the annual reunion of the Boggess Family Association, a discussion is always held to decide where the next
reunion should take place. The decision is determined by the result of a vote of the attendees at the reunion.
In 2007 most people voted to hold the 2008 reunion in conjunction with a concert by our "cousin" Suzy Bogguss.
Since her tour plans were not known in Bridgeport in July 2007, an alternate decision to hold the reunion in
North Carolina was also made. Since the tour schedule of Suzy Boggess for next July has still not been released,
the alternate decision is being honored.
The plans have not been finalized at this time but the date has been set. The reunion will be held in Wilkesboro
North Carolina July 24 through July 26. A block of rooms has been held for our gathering at the Wilkesboro Holiday
Inn Express. You can reach the motel by calling 1-336-838-1800 to make your reservations.
Check back later for more information regarding the banquet and the possible bus tour through the areas where the
Bauguess (Boggess) families lived and still live today. The total cost for the reunion activities has not yet been
determined.
